Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. She returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. She also received the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter.
